The first day of the 2026 Summer Karate Clinic, held on April 21, drew an enthusiastic crowd of more than 70 young participants from various barangays in Marilao, Bocaue, Meycauayan, and Sta. Maria.
The session was led by Sensei Andres Mendoza, a 5th Dan black belt, alongside Sensei Jem Mendoza- Tapic, a 2nd Dan, who guided students through the fundamentals of karate, including basic blocking, punching, and kicking techniques.
The strong turnout highlights the growing interest of youth in martial arts, promoting not only physical fitness but also discipline and self-confidence among participants.
The 2026 Summer Karate Clinic will run for a total of 12 sessions and is scheduled to conclude on May 29, 2026.
